Role and Responsibilities:
This position offers the opportunity to lead and implement energy management strategies and initiatives. The Energy Manager will be responsible for developing and executing plans to optimize energy consumption, reduce costs, and promote sustainability. This role requires expertise in energy efficiency, renewable energy sources, and regulatory compliance. The Energy Manager will also collaborate with various stakeholders to foster a culture of energy conservation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive energy management plans and strategies aligned with organizational goals and sustainability objectives.
- Conduct energy audits and assessments to identify opportunities for energy savings and efficiency improvements.
- Evaluate and recommend energy-efficient technologies, equipment, and systems, including renewable energy solutions.
- Monitor energy consumption patterns, analyze data, and identify trends to optimize energy usage and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with relevant energy regulations, codes, and standards.
- Develop and deliver training programs and awareness campaigns to promote energy conservation and efficiency among employees.
- Manage energy-related projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
- Prepare and present reports on energy performance, savings, and initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of energy management principles, practices, and technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing energy efficiency projects.
- Familiarity with renewable energy sources and technologies.
- Understanding of energy regulations, codes, and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work 1 effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. A master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in energy management. Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification is highly desirable.
